Back in June, Blake and I joined my friend, Brittney, at the No Kings protest in Waterford, Michigan. There were thousands of us lined up along M-24 with signs, banners, and noise makers protesting the current administration. Although we couldn’t stay very long, as we left, we took the opportunity to drive our van past the protesters, honking and shouting out the window in support. It was gloriously fun and invigorating.

Now here we are, just a couple of months later, and we’re getting ready to do it again, this time on an even bigger scale. There are more than two THOUSAND protests scheduled across the United States. Blake and I are planning to attend the one in Lake Orion, next to the Starbucks, just South of downtown, from 2 – 4 pm.
If you’re out there, I’d love to see you. If you are interested, but live somewhere else, check out this link to the official No Kings website to find one near you.
Don’t forget to wear yellow, bring a sign or banner (if you want to), and most importantly, carry joy in your heart. By leading with love instead of anger, we can show that bitterness fades while compassion lasts.
Please let me know if you attend and how it goes. I look forward to hearing from you!
xoxo Pam
