Thanks to everyone at the Sparta High School 2026 Prom who sat down with me for an Alchemy Card reading! I had the very best time offering two-card readings to more than 40 students among the almost 300 who attended.
Thanks to the DJ, the music was pumping, and with everyone dancing around in dresses and suits, the vibes were awesome.
I was most impressed by the curiosity and openness everyone brought to my table. Each person got to hear what they needed to have a beautiful life and relationships worth sharing.
Healing and deeper understanding
To start each reading, I pulled an Alchemy card. I explained the action word and how it relates to their power. Next, I offered them a choice among four decks to deepen their understanding. Well, imagine my surprise when most of the students chose the Shadow Work deck.
I explained that these oracle cards point to the “heavy lifting” each of us needs to do to heal the painful parts within us. It takes a lot of strength to do this work, which is very unusual, especially for people their age. They gave me a lot of hope for the future.
The students lined up at my table all night. I only had about a minute and a half to stand up and stretch. The rest of the time, the students patiently waited for their turn, chatting and enjoying the magician, who was performing card tricks for those in line.
I am so grateful to everyone for their patient attention and trust. In these crazy times, it’s experiences like this that create a life worth living.
