Whenever you’re feeling out of sorts this can help …you pull it together.ππβ€οΈ
For example, I use these boundaries to figure out what’s currently going on and what my priorities are.
The way I do that is by taking a concept ( i.e. Covid) and look at how it is affecting me.
Physical= I’m currently sick, feeling a stuffy head, with headache, sneezing and coughing. My priority is to feel better while also caring for my husband, who has MS and also has Covid.
Material= I’m taking medicine and drinking lots of fluids. I’m also eating regular meals to give my body energy to heal. I’m wearing light, comfortable clothing. My priority is staying current with meds.
Mental= I’m thinking about balancing care for myself with caring for my husband and our home. My priority is focused on a life worth living. I’m also sharing this strategy with you to be a good influence and follow my purpose. πππ
Emotional= I’m feeling hopeful that this sickness will be ending soon and that you, and others, will find these boundaries videos and this strategy helpful π. My priority is feeling healthy and connected.
Sexual= I’m still happily married. ππMy priority is to stay that way.
Spiritual= I’m showing up, experiencing myself as an expression of the Universe. I’m using the wind in my sails to express myself, sharing this idea to be of service. My priority is to remember and make use of this Divine connection that lives within each of us at all times.
Temporal= I’m using my time to balance taking care of my responsibilities with my desire to be of service to the greater good. My priority is to be honest, present, and true to myself in body, mind, and soul.
Virtual= I’m using my virtual boundaries on social media to share pics of me and my darling husband (celebrating 25 years married, despite Covid) as well as what I’ve been learning about boundaries. I’ve been reaching out for help via email to publish a couple of coloring books for kids and grown-ups. My priority is to leave behind a legacy that serves others and supports future generations to build a wonderful life with relationships worth sharing.
