This song always gives me the chills whenever I hear it come on the radio. (I know, I’m old school still listening to music over the airwaves!)
Although John Lennon and Paul McCartney first wrote and performed this song, I’ve always loved the Joe Cocker version because he was inspired by them.
As we head into this week, let’s take a few minutes to think about how we show love and appreciation for our friends and family. Our daily lives get filled up so quickly with drama, responsibilities, and challenges. It’s important we remember we’re not sailing through these stormy seas all by ourselves. We have a crew, people who love and support us during the good and bad times.
Don’t give up.
Even if you’ve been struggling with troubling relationships, there’s help available. Whether you talk to a therapist, a counselor, or even reach out to me for coaching, you deserve a helpful, supportive presence in your life. (I’m grateful for the help I’ve found talking to my counselor ever since I was hit by a car. She’s helped me talk about my stuff so it doesn’t “leak out” onto my family and friends.) You can see me in person at Rochester Holistic Arts or we can chat on the phone or virtually using Zoom, or Facebook Messenger. Either way, I’d be glad to hear from you and grateful for the opportunity to work with you to help you steer through your challenges.
Thank YOU for being here, my friendly blog reader.
I’m so glad you’re on my crew and I appreciate you stopping by and reading this blog. Would you please do me a favor and share it? You can forward this email, or click the social media share buttons. Either way, I appreciate your help getting this blog out to others looking for a light on the stormy seas of the internet.
What song reminds you to love your people? I’d love to read about it in the comments below.
Have a wonderful week.
xoxo Pam
P.S. Please send some good healing vibes to my friend, Dave McDonald. He’s recovering from a seizure that happened just days after he went in for surgery to remove throat cancer. His situation inspired me to start doing weekly videos on FB and put my voice out into the world. Above is a picture we took at our friend, Jill’s son’s open house.
