Thanks for pink days.

This workshop includes everything you need to make handmade beads using Sculpey clay. You can choose the color, size, and texture from my supplies. Bring any other beads from home to create something unique and personal. Whether you add the beads to a bracelet or bookmark or weave them into a burlap art project, you will appreciate the fun, simple, and creative process.

Easy and fun

I started making beads many years ago to add to my burlap art projects. I was amazed at how soothing the bead-making process was, replacing my anxiety with focusing on creating something smooth and beautiful.

Making beads is as easy as rubbing the clay between your palms to make a snake. Then, you chop it up into the same-sized pieces. Next, you roll each piece between your finger and thumb, making it round, oval, or whatever you want. Make a hole through the center using a toothpick before putting it into the toaster oven to cook for 15 – 20 minutes.

Here’s a quick video of the process. It’s easy peasy!
