Make a magic wand and handbook
Beads, bracelets, and bookmarks
“Enjoy being creative” doodle class
If you’re worried you’re “not creative,” these art classes are for you. You’ll get to paint a stick to make a magic wand. The magic wand handbook lets you play with scissors to cut out inspirational quotes and a glue stick to paste them into the book. If you can pull string, count to ten, and tie a knot, you can make a piece of burlap art. Simple, fun, and easy, these art classes tap into your creative juice. You’ll have a wonderful time and leave with a unique and beautiful piece of art to show your family and friends.
When my son was little, I always had pipe cleaners, fuzzy pom poms, popsicle sticks, and googly eyes for him and the other neighbor kids to play with. I’m also a proud auntie to six nieces, and even now, whenever we get together, I make sure we have an art project to work on. You’re never too old to play and spend quality time with your favorite people.
I believe life is a creative art. When we take life’s difficulties and focus on building something beautiful and worthwhile, despite those challenges, we create art.
“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
Pablo Picass
The healing power of art.
Art is a balm for the soul, a prescription to heal anxiety, depression, and other issues squashing our happiness. Tapping into our creativity opens up inner space to meet our Source, Creator, or higher self. Whatever the name, it doesn’t matter. It is the part of ourselves steering the way to building a better life for ourselves and the people around us.
The simple truth is that joy heals. Play and creativity light a path forward to a life worth living. If you want to make something beautiful, meaningful, and fun, I invite you to join me or ask me to your place. Together, we can create more happiness and laughter in a dark world.
“However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light.”
Stanley Kubrick
